Major power plant order for ELGA Berkefeld:
(PM) , 26.07.2007 - Condensate polishing for the world’s most modern hard coal-fired power plant in DuisburgCelle/Duisburg, 19 July 2007 – ELGA Berkefeld, the German subsidiary of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, has received a major order for the condensate pol-ishing system at the world's most modern hard coal-fired power plant, in Walsum, near Duisburg. The plant consists of two lines, each of which can process 725 m³/h of condensate. The customer is the power plant building company Hitachi Power Europe GmbH, which is constructing the plant as a turnkey project for the energy supply consortium STEAG/EVN. The delivery for the condensate polishing installa-tion is July 2008. The project was won by a team of engineers from ELGA Berkefeld in Celle and Krüger WABAG in Zwenkau.
