(PM) Berlin, 05.06.2012 - Atheneum Partners, the leading investment research and advisory firm in Europe and Emerging Markets based in Berlin and with offices in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, is announcing a fifth partner, Marta Zareba, to their team.

Marta Zareba, of Polish descent and originally from Warsaw, will be strengthening Atheneum’s development and reach as the Head of Europe. Marta joined Atheneum after more than 6 years at McKinsey & Company in Europe, during which she built an impressive management consulting track record advising leading corporations in telecommunications, consumer and industrial goods, and financial services; and top private equity firms on strategy, M&A and marketing and sales topics. Prior to her work at McKinsey, Marta founded and managed a B2B services company for 3 years, which she then successfully sold to a strategic investor. She also worked for The Grameen Creative Lab, a social business think-tank established by Professor Yunus, a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.

Marta holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Lodz, Poland, and an MBA from INSEAD, completed in France and Singapore. Marta currently lives in both Berlin and Frankfurt, Germany.
